We came to BNA Wall after staying at BNA Art (which is fantastic, BTW). What a disappointment! The room we booked was unavailable and we had to settle for another. It was a lovely room in terms of art (quite impressive and cleverly designed), but there was such a noisy water pump in the room with overwhelming sounds whenever someone went to the restroom or took a shower. There was no room to put our suitcases. The bed was way too small for a couple. We were willing to accept this because the room was, as mentioned above, so nicely designed. It's called: The World After Five Minutes. A breathtaking work of art. However, other aspects, unrelated to art were beginning to accumulate. We wanted to do our laundry (with additional payment) and the staff was irresponsible in handling it. We had to go to the laundry room (with a staff member each time because the room is only accessible to staff) three or four times to make sure our laundry was being done. It took hours, and every time we went there we realized that the staff - despite repeated reassurances - forgot about our laundry. It ended up dry eventually, but smelly and wrinkled.
The room was cleaned once during our stay (4 nights). we received a total of 4 small bottles of water during our stay and half a roll of toilet paper. Our trash bins were full by the time the room was eventually cleaned. On our last night at BNA Wall - after a long day outside, there was no water in the shower. A staff member fixed it after we went down to the lobby to ask for help.
My partner celebrated his birthday a day before our arrival and the staff gave us chocolate and tea which was a really nice gesture.
I think everyone's intentions were really good, but the overall stay was neither fun nor comfortable. We chose this place for its artistic vibe, but somewhere along the way, convenience and comfort were pushed aside.
